Sceniq’s playground at Sceniq Park is almost complete and will be ready for action for the first families moving into this new Bilambil Heights community. Sceniq Park has been thoughtfully designed to become part of daily life. It will offer a safe, welcoming space where children of all ages can play, families can gather and like-minded neighbours can connect.

A park for everyone, right at home!
While the playground will be open to the wider Bilambil Heights community, its central location within Sceniq makes it a natural hub for lucky residents. A network of accessible footpaths connects the playground to surrounding homes, making it easy for people of all ages and abilities to reach, including those using prams, wheelchairs and scooters.
The space has been designed with everyday use in mind. A shaded picnic shelter, covered seating and benches create a comfortable spot for parents and carers to relax or connect while children play. Landscaped gardens and open grassed areas we well as clear sightlines throughout the park help create a calm, secure atmosphere. Whether it is a quick play after school or a weekend get-together celebration, the park encourages casual, regular use.
Play that encourages imagination and movement
At the centre of the playground is the Urban Fort, a multi-feature climbing and slide structure that has now been installed and is almost ready for action. It invites children to explore, climb and play creatively in an active and engaging environment.
Additional features, including a swing set and fossil diggables, will be added soon. These will provide even more variety for children of different ages and interests. The playground has been designed with safety and inclusivity in mind, with soft fall surfacing, concrete edging and level pathways throughout the space.

With most of the playground now complete, key elements such as play equipment, seating, landscaping and pathways are already in place. The final touches, including planting, fencing and a few remaining features, will be completed in the coming weeks.
